WASHINGTON DOL · LICENSE STATUS
FREE DOL ONLINE TOOL
The Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) has a free online tool that shows the current status of your driver’s license, including whether it is valid, suspended or revoked.
After a DUI arrest, the DOL can suspend your license separately from the criminal case. You generally have only 7 days from the arrest (or from receiving the DOL’s notice of suspension, if later) to request a DOL hearing to challenge the suspension, so check your status and call us right away.
Driving while your license is suspended or revoked can lead to a new criminal charge (DWLS). If you are not sure whether you can legally drive, check before you get behind the wheel.
Chris Bugbee can explain what your DOL record means, whether you can still request a hearing and what it takes to get back on the road.
As a former Spokane County prosecutor with 30+ years of criminal law experience and nearly 200 jury cases, he handles your case personally.
